AI-Powered Radiographic Analysis & Age Assessment

The Cephtactics Age Assessment Program leverages computer vision and data-driven algorithms to support radiographic interpretation across a range of clinical applications, including caries detection, periodontal assessment, difficulty scoring, and skeletal age estimation.

By analysing large datasets of orthopantomographs, the system assists clinicians in generating objective diagnostic parameters to support growth prediction, interceptive orthodontics, orthognathic planning, and medico-legal evaluations. Developed from years of age assessment research, this evolving platform applies machine learning methodologies to enhance diagnostic consistency, streamline clinical workflows, and provide evidence-informed insights that complement professional judgement.

Cephtactics Age Assessment Program uses computer vision to assist in radiographic appraisal.

Detecting everything from caries, periodontal disease, difficulty calculation and of course, age assessment.

Age assessment is one of the most important aspects of growth prediction, interceptive orthodontics, orthognathic planning as well as assisting in projects specific to legal matters.

Computer vision seeks to automate tasks that the human visual system can do and with assistance from databases of radiographs, we can generate accurate diagnostic parameters.

One of our most exciting and daring projects uses data formulated from years of age assessment projects and then employs the Orthopantamograph in predicting age without the clinician. The software is in early development and will be active soon.
